We’re a family-owned business set up to provide a completely independent financial planning service for individuals and families for a set fee.
Steve has over 30 years’ experience of advising people and their families on all aspects of their financial planning. He’s also a keen golfer, playing as much as time will allow.
Tracy has extensive front-of-house management experience and will look after all the administrative and office needs for the business. She spends some of her spare time enjoying Ceroc (modern jive) dancing.
When not working, both like to travel to warm climates and interesting cities whenever possible. When not travelling, they like meeting friends and family for meals out as well as entertaining at home.

We set up Milligan Financial Planning to offer a truly personal, rather than a corporate approach. We help to guide people through the financial planning minefield by creating a personalised plan, adapting it when necessary, as part of our overall service.
Most financial advice companies will charge you a percentage of your wealth and potentially a further fee for adapting their advice. The truth is whether you have £250,000 or £500,000, the service levels are generally the same.
We don’t think it’s fair to charge a percentage - as, in this case, it’s double the cost - so instead we charge a fixed fee to everyone.
This means that no matter where you are along your timeline, or what your needs are, you’ll only pay for the guidance and advice we give you.
As we keep saying, it’s all about you and receiving a service that is truly personal to you and most importantly, value for money.
